Does WPC decking get slippy?

It is very dangerous to slip on the floor. If you plan to install the floor by the swimming pool or in a humid environment such as frequent rain, you will first worry about the safety of the floor. Sunlight and rain can cause wood to crack or rot, and mold growing on the floor can also make the floor slippery. There is no need to worry about this problem when using composite decking. This durable and low-maintenance composite material will not crack and rot, and it does not need to be painted after long-term use.

Most composite decking has moisture-proof properties. Compared with other composite materials, the composite decking products we design and manufacture pay more attention to improving the anti-slip performance. WPC decking looks and feels like wood, but it is actually made of high-density plastic and wood fiber, which is higher in hardness than wood. At present, some composite decking are covered with a layer of plastic, but the surface of the plastic is smoother. And the surface we use mixed with plastic and wood is similar in texture to wood, and the surface is rougher, which further improves the anti-slip performance.

Every piece of WPC decking we manufacture uses different surface treatments on both sides, one side is smooth and the other is grooved. Where better anti-slip properties are required, the grooved surface can be installed facing upwards. It is not easy to slip and fall whether it is walking barefoot or wearing shoes.

Sometimes, the slippery is caused by mold on the surface of the floor. Mold will not grow on decking, but pollen, leaves or other debris on the floor may cause mold. It should be noted that soap and water are used in daily use to clean the floor regularly to keep the floor clean.
